Collection: Inspired by Literature

The Inspired by Literature collection celebrates stories that shape us — challenged, beloved, controversial, and enduring. Each colorway is rooted in a book that sparked something: resistance, tenderness, joy, anger, memory, or hope.

Many of these yarns began as part of my Banned Books series, created in response to censorship and the quiet power of stories that refuse to disappear. Others draw inspiration from classic literature, contemporary works, poetry, and narratives that simply deserve to be held, remembered, and carried forward — whether or not they were ever banned.

Every colorway is hand-dyed in small batches with intention and care, translating themes, emotion, and atmosphere from page to fiber. These yarns are meant to be lived with slowly — knit, crocheted, or woven while stories unfold stitch by stitch.

This collection is for readers, makers, rebels, and romantics alike — for anyone who believes that books matter, stories linger, and creativity is its own form of resistance.
