The Little Prince-Banned Book Colorway
The Little Prince-Banned Book Colorway
Inspired by The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, this Banned Book colorway honors a story written in exile during World War II. While living in the United States, separated from his homeland, Saint-Exupéry created a work that quietly resisted darkness through tenderness, imagination, and hope.
Banned in occupied France by the Vichy regime, The Little Prince could not be published there until after the war. Yet its message endured — a reminder that even in the bleakest circumstances, gentleness and wonder can survive.
This colorway reflects that luminous persistence. A deep midnight-sky blue forms the base, scattered with Neon Donegal Neps that flicker like distant stars. Small, vivid bursts of color move across shadow, echoing the novel’s belief in light that refuses to be extinguished.

Please Note
All yarn is hand-dyed; color placement and nep distribution will vary naturally between skeins and are part of the character of this base.
For larger projects, alternating skeins is recommended for the most even results.
Because each skein is carefully dyed and thoughtfully curated by hand, please allow 4–6 weeks for turnaround, especially during peak seasons. Orders are created with intention and care—thank you for supporting slow, meaningful fiber.
