Honey Pot — Tonal Colorway

Honey Pot is a radiant golden tonal inspired by sun-warmed honeycombs and honeybee knees heavy with pollen. Layered shades of glowing yellow, soft marigold, and warm honey gold create a palette that feels alive with light and movement—bright, saturated, and unmistakably joyful.

This colorway captures the warmth of late-summer fields and freshly filled hives, where golden tones shift subtly from strand to strand like light passing through honeycomb cells. The result is a tonal with depth and variation that highlights texture beautifully while remaining cohesive and luminous.

The socks shown were knit using Honey Pot and the main colorway, Bird Superior  using the pattern Bird Superior DK Socks, an original design from the studio of Laughing Cat Fibers.

This pattern is currently being test knit and will be published on Ravelry soon.
