Tobacco Leaf is one of my core tonal recipes — a rich, grounded neutral designed to anchor, balance, and elevate more complex colorways.

Warm without leaning orange and deep without tipping muddy, Tobacco Leaf lives in that perfect in-between space: earthy, steady, and endlessly versatile. It provides visual rest alongside highly textured or multi-layered skeins while still bringing its own depth and presence to the fabric.

This tonal was created with contrast in mind. It plays beautifully against saturated palettes and painterly speckles, allowing statement colorways to breathe while strengthening the overall composition of a project.

Subtle variation in tone and saturation is expected and is part of the character of hand-dyed yarn.

For larger projects, alternating skeins is recommended for the most even color flow.

Turnaround Time:
Please allow 4–6 weeks for dye-to-order yarns, especially during peak seasons. Each skein is dyed, set, and finished by hand to ensure depth, balance, and consistency.
