Silver Gourd — Tonal Colorway

Silver Gourd is one of my core tonal recipes — a refined, cool gray designed to bring calm, structure, and balance to complex palettes.

Clean without feeling stark and soft without reading flat, Silver Gourd lives in that elegant space between pale stone and light graphite. It delivers depth and stitch clarity while remaining neutral enough to anchor saturated, highly textured, or multi-layered colorways without competing for attention.

This tonal was created to provide visual rest and compositional strength. It pairs beautifully with bold hues, florals, metallics, and painterly speckles, allowing statement colors to breathe while strengthening the overall harmony of a project.

Whether used for cuffs, heels, borders, brioche contrast, colorwork grounding, or full garments, Silver Gourd is a true workhorse tonal — steady, versatile, and intentionally restrained.

Subtle variation in tone and saturation is expected and is part of the character of hand-dyed yarn.

For larger projects, alternating skeins is recommended for the most even color flow.

Turnaround Time

Please allow 4–6 weeks for dye-to-order yarns, especially during peak seasons. Each skein is dyed, set, and finished by hand to ensure depth, balance, and consistency.
