Neptune | Nature Inspired Colorway

Neptune is inspired by a remarkable image of our solar system’s distant ice giant captured by the James Webb Space Telescope. Rendered in infrared light, the familiar blue planet takes on an almost surreal appearance, revealing brilliant bands of blue, turquoise and green along with atmospheric features normally hidden from view.

This colorway captures that electric palette with saturated cobalt and deep violet-blue, shifting turquoise and emerald green, and explosive flashes of acid yellow-green. The dramatic transitions mimic the bands and storms moving through Neptune’s atmosphere, while darker passages give the brighter colors room to blaze.

Neptune is dyed with UV-reactive dyes, transforming under blacklight as the greens and turquoise ignite against the intense blue background. It’s already a bold colorway in natural light; under UV, it becomes something entirely different.

Vivid, high-contrast and unapologetically bright, Neptune is a little piece of the outer solar system translated into yarn.
