Poppy — Hand-Dyed Wool Roving

Poppy — Hand-Dyed Wool Roving

Poppy — Hand-Dyed Wool Roving

4 ounces of hand-dyed wool roving in Poppy, inspired by the bold, graphic beauty of poppy blooms.

This colorway bursts with saturated poppy orange and red at its heart, surrounded by sunlit yellow, mossy greens, and layered blue-green tones that echo foliage, sky, and movement. Color shifts organically along the braid, creating depth and visual rhythm that unfolds as the fiber is spun, felted, or woven.

Dyed in small batches, Poppy balances vibrancy with nuance — expressive without being chaotic, bold without losing harmony. Each braid captures the lively, painterly energy of the flower itself.
