Mediterranean Sea — Tonal Colorway

Mediterranean Sea is one of my core tonal recipes — a deep, immersive blue-green created originally to pair with The Algerian Woman and designed to bring depth, mood, and cohesion to art-driven palettes.

Neither purely blue nor fully green, Mediterranean Sea lives in that rich in-between space where ocean depth meets shadowed mineral tones. Saturated without reading flat, it delivers movement and dimensionality while remaining grounded enough to function as a true workhorse tonal.

This tonal was created with contrast and harmony in mind. It pairs beautifully with warm earth tones, florals, painterly speckles, and complex colorways, allowing statement skeins to shine while strengthening the overall composition of a project.

Whether used for cuffs, heels, borders, brioche contrast, colorwork grounding, or full garments, Mediterranean Sea is a versatile tonal designed to support creativity without competing for attention.

Subtle variation in tone and saturation is expected and is part of the character of hand-dyed yarn.

For larger projects, alternating skeins is recommended for the most even color flow.

Turnaround Time

Please allow 4–6 weeks for dye-to-order yarns, especially during peak seasons. Each skein is dyed, set, and finished by hand to ensure depth, balance, and consistency.
