Jenny’s Starry Night — Vincent VanGogh Series

Inspired by The Starry Night by Vincent van Gogh, Jenny’s Starry Night was the first colorway in my series dedicated to Van Gogh — and one of the most personal pieces in my entire collection.

This colorway is also dedicated to my dear friend Jenny, a yarn shop owner who welcomed me into her shop during my years in Columbus, Ohio. Those early trunk shows, conversations, and encouragement mattered more than she probably realized. This yarn carries both artistic reverence and lived gratitude.

Van Gogh’s The Starry Night is movement made visible — swirling skies, charged color, and emotional intensity rendered through bold strokes and contrast. That energy is the heart of this colorway.

Deep cobalt and ultramarine blues form a night-sky foundation, punctuated by radiant sunflower yellow and touches of shadowed violet and earthy undertone. The palette is high-contrast yet balanced, designed to move across the fabric the way Van Gogh’s brushstrokes move across canvas — rhythmic, expressive, and unmistakably alive.

As the fabric grows, the colorway reveals depth and motion, making it especially suited to projects that showcase flow, texture, and uninterrupted color transitions.

All yarn is hand-dyed to order; color placement, saturation, and tonal variation will vary between skeins.

Each skein is dyed individually using layered techniques, making every skein unique.

For larger projects, alternating skeins is recommended for the most even color flow.

Colors may vary slightly depending on screen settings and lighting conditions.

Turnaround Time:
Please allow 4–6 weeks for dye-to-order yarns, especially during peak seasons. Each skein is carefully dyed, set, and finished by hand to ensure balance, depth, and consistency.
