Gumball Nebula — Hand-Dyed Wool Roving
4 ounces of hand-dyed wool roving in Gumball Nebula, inspired by deep-space imagery captured by NASA.
This colorway translates the surreal beauty of a distant nebula into fiber — vivid pinks, electric greens, saturated purples, and luminous blues colliding in a palette that feels playful, chaotic, and alive. Color placement is intentionally dynamic, allowing bold shifts and unexpected transitions to emerge as the fiber is spun, felted, or woven.
Dyed with UV-reactive pigments, Gumball Nebula transforms dramatically under blacklight. Select colors ignite and glow, revealing an intensified neon effect that mirrors the charged energy of deep space. Under natural light it’s vibrant and candy-bright; under UV it becomes fully cosmic.
Dyed in small batches, each braid is a one-of-a-kind expression of motion, light, and interstellar color.
