Flora was inspired by the luminous painting by Flora by Evelyn De Morgan — a Pre-Raphaelite vision overflowing with warm golden light, roses, fruit trees, and flowing drapery.
This colorway captures the painting’s romantic palette through glowing peaches, soft apricot golds, antique rose pinks, warm cream, and rich floral magentas layered together with delicate movement and painterly transitions. Speckles of olive and earthy shadow echo the hidden depth within the garden foliage surrounding Flora herself.

I had actually stopped by Laura's booth to say hello and saw Flora from across the booth and had to have it. It's gorgeous in color and so plush. I can't wait to work something up with it. I have several other Laughing Cat skeins that I have loved working with and this one is no exception. Excited to see what she becomes. If you're an art lover, LCF is definitely for you.
