Inspired by Flora by Evelyn De Morgan, this colorway celebrates the lush warmth and abundance of De Morgan’s vision of the Roman goddess of flowers and spring.

Golden apricot, warm peach, and soft cream flow into rich raspberry and rose, echoing Flora’s luminous hair, embroidered gown, and deep red drapery. Touches of earthy olive and scattered dark speckles bring in the dense leaves, branches, and tiny details of the garden surrounding her.

Like the painting, Flora feels both romantic and alive—soft and glowing at first glance, but filled with layers of color and detail the longer you look.

Evelyn De Morgan frequently used mythological women as powerful figures rather than simply decorative subjects, filling her work with symbolism, strength, and a distinctly female point of view.
