Courage, Anxiety & Despair (Watching the Battle) — Hand-Dyed Wool Roving

Courage, Anxiety & Despair (Watching the Battle) — Hand-Dyed Wool Roving

4 ounces of hand-dyed wool roving in Courage, Anxiety & Despair, inspired by Courage, Anxiety and Despair (Watching the Battle) by James Sant.

This colorway reflects emotional contrast held in a single moment. Deep golden browns transition into layered greens before softening into pale, quiet neutrals—mirroring tension, vigilance, and fragile calm. The movement of color is deliberate along the braid, allowing distinct sections to emerge or blend depending on drafting style.

Dyed in small batches, each braid carries natural variation in saturation and placement. The resulting yarn can highlight bold contrast or soften into atmospheric transitions, making it well suited for spinners who appreciate visible shifts and narrative depth in their finished work.
