Beads on a String is a reformulated version of a colorway originally created in 2020, revisited with refined technique and expanded depth.

In astronomy, “beads on a string” describes a series of intense star-forming regions that appear when galaxies interact or collide. As gravitational forces stretch and compress galactic material, luminous clusters ignite in repeating intervals, forming bright knots strung along tidal arms.

This colorway translates that phenomenon through layered, high-energy color. Warm golds, amber, coral, and sunset orange form a glowing galactic field, punctuated by bursts of pink, magenta, and deep wine tones. Darker grounding shades provide contrast and rhythm, allowing the brighter hues to feel intentional rather than chaotic.

Dyed with UV-reactive pigments, Beads on a String transforms dramatically under blacklight. Neon accents ignite and intensify, revealing hidden structure and additional contrast — a true glow effect that mirrors the explosive energy of stellar formation.
