Inspired by Judith Slaying Holofernes by Artemisia Gentileschi, this art-inspired colorway is a study in power reclaimed, fury transformed, and survival made visible.

Gentileschi’s painting is not subtle — and it was never meant to be. Unlike earlier interpretations of the biblical story, her Judith is resolute, physical, and unflinching. This is not allegory softened by distance. It is action. It is consequence. It is a woman who does not look away.

Painted in the aftermath of Artemisia’s own public assault and trial, Judith Slaying Holofernes is widely understood as part of her reckoning with trauma — a refusal to be silent, erased, or diminished. Her abuser did not define her legacy. Her work did.

That truth lives inside this colorway.

Deep wine reds, bruised plum, shadowed navy, and near-black tones form a heavy, deliberate base, broken by burnished golds and ochre — flashes of resolve, metal, and flesh. Colors pool and press against one another, creating tension rather than contrast, weight rather than ornament. Nothing here is decorative. Everything is intentional.
