"Speckles & Tails" on Various Yarn Bases

"Speckles & Tails" was the precursor to the entire "Deep Space" collection. This colorway uses a solid "tail" color and is contrasted with the lower half of the skeins being speckled with UV dyes. The result is an incredible mix of striping and speckles. One of my favorite patterns to knit with this yarn is the "Pincha" shawl. The use of short rows really makes the effect dramatic. This is a UV reactive colorway and glows under black light. (*pictured is a section of "Pincha" under black light and a customers project of an earflap hat).
